YPF Director Josh Lee Featured on Break Fake Rules Podcast
Youth Power Fund Director Josh Lee recently joined the Break Fake Rules podcast episode, “Philanthropy Gets Smarter When Youth Direct Where Funds Flow,” alongside Glen Galaich and Ralph Lewin.
The conversation explored how philanthropy becomes stronger when young people are trusted not just to participate in programs, but to help shape where resources flow. Josh shared how the Youth Power Fund approaches participatory grantmaking by involving young people directly in funding strategy and grantmaking decisions across California.
“We include young people in decision making, because our belief is that their framework, their experiences, where they are at in their lives, actually give them MORE insight into what’s possible,” Josh shared during the episode.
